Another view of the German Front Line
This photograph was taken in the German front line positions of June 1915. Part of Railway Wood can be seen on the left of the picture. The two large trees in the middle distance mark the edge of the old railway line to Roulers which has been resurfaced to make a new roadway.
The Royal Engineers Mining company memorial is in the foreground whilst just beyond it are the remains of a mine crater now full of water.
