WILFRED OWEN ASSOCIATION
90 YEARS ON (1918-2008)
The Wilfred Owen Association plans to commemorate the 90th anniversary of Owen’s death and the 1918 Armistice with a series of events, in and around Shrewsbury, in November 2008. There will be talks, discussions, readings, a children’s poetry competition, theatre performances, an exhibition (Remembered – on loan from the Commonwealth War Graves Commission) and a performance of the oratorio Morning Heroes by Sir Arthur Bliss.
